Other places listed in this gym’s district provide local context. Exact street adjacency and walking times are not yet established.

1. Hearth Square

Daily errands, civic business and buying household supplies bring residents here throughout the week. Deliveries arrive early; the square becomes a relaxed meeting place once the stalls are open.

Square Town Hall

A modest civic building handling local records, notices and neighborhood meetings. Its shaded entrance is where residents stop to read announcements before shopping.

Hearth Post Office

Letters, parcels and messages for travelers pass through a busy counter lined with sorting cubbies. A collection shelf holds mail for guests staying at local inns.

Cornerstock General Store

Shelves of pantry staples, soap, notebooks and ordinary travel supplies make this the first stop for forgotten essentials. The front counter doubles as a neighborhood information desk.

Morning Bell Bakery

Warm bread and breakfast buns fill the square with their smell before most offices open. Window seats invite lingering conversations over coffee.

Growers' Market

Orchard fruit, vegetables and seasonal preserves arrive from nearby growers. Buyers compare produce beneath striped awnings while stallholders swap news.

Meeting Fountain

Broad paving and low seating surround the square's fountain. Friends arrange departures here, while travelers spread maps across their knees.

2. Firstlight Commons

This quarter supports voluntary trainer partnerships, research and the first steps into League sport. Adult teams come to register, learn and practice; public paths let residents visit without entering training areas.

Regional Research Outpost

Researchers study Auvoran forms and evolution with consenting participants. A small public room displays field findings and explains current projects.

Partner Registration Office

Adult partners and trainers register their team arrangements and ask about League participation. Consultations cover responsibilities, consent and how to update a roster.

Practice Lawns

Marked grass courts provide space for basic movement, coordination and controlled move practice. Beginners work beside more experienced teams, with rest benches around the edges.

Firstlight Gym

The city's Normal-type base gym teaches coordination and adaptability. Successful official challengers earn the Hearth Badge; leaders and team rosters remain to be established.

Commons Recovery Room

A quiet first-aid and recovery space serves people using the training grounds. Staff refer injuries requiring further care to the neighborhood clinic.

3. Orchard Ward

Most people come here to go home, attend school or see their neighbors. Residential lanes wind between kitchen gardens and orchard plots, with a slower rhythm than the shopping square.

Orchard Lanes

Homes open onto narrow planted lanes where washing hangs above garden fences. Seasonal picking days bring neighbors together without turning the ward into a visitor attraction.

Orchard School

Shared classrooms and a sheltered play yard serve local children. Families gather at the gate in the afternoon, then walk home through the orchards.

Ward Clinic

A neighborhood healthcare practice handles routine appointments and minor illnesses for residents of different species. Its waiting room overlooks a small herb garden.

Applewood Community Hall

Residents use the hall for clubs, shared meals and indoor gatherings when the weather turns. A kitchen and folding tables make it useful for ordinary celebrations.

Kitchen Garden Plots

Small shared plots provide herbs and vegetables for nearby households. Paths remain open for neighbors carrying baskets, watering cans and gardening advice.

4. Millbrook Works

Food processing, repairs and public utilities keep this district busy during working hours. The stream and service yards support the rest of the city, while lunch spots and affordable gear draw travelers.

Millbrook Mill

The stream-driven mill processes grain for local kitchens and bakeries. The wheel's steady sound carries down the service lane, and flour deliveries leave through a separate loading yard.

Repair Row

Small workshops mend boots, packs, tools and everyday equipment. Customers wait on worn benches while craftspeople explain which items can be repaired rather than replaced.

Cleanwater House

The city's treatment works monitor and clean the municipal water supply. Operational rooms are staff-only; public notices explain maintenance that affects nearby households.

Millbrook Storage Yards

Covered bays hold grain sacks, building materials and shop deliveries. Clearly marked walking routes keep visitors away from unloading crews.

Shiftbreak Lunch Counter

An inexpensive counter serves filling hot lunches to mill workers and repair crews. Conversations revolve around jobs, weather and whose equipment failed this week.

Second Start Gear

A secondhand shop sells inspected packs, coats and practical travel equipment. New teams can assemble basic kit without buying everything new.

5. Southgate Gardens

Travelers sleep, wash and prepare for departure here, while residents use the gardens for short outings. It is the transition between city life and the road descending toward the bay.

Southgate Inn

A welcoming inn offers meals, luggage storage and rooms for travelers preparing to leave. Its common room is a natural place to compare route plans.

Gatehouse Rooms

Simple rented rooms provide a cheaper option for visitors who need a bed and a place to dry their clothes. Shared facilities encourage friendly, occasionally crowded mornings.

Garden Baths

A public bathhouse gives residents and road-weary travelers a place to wash and unwind. Separate changing spaces and private bathing rooms accommodate different needs.

Terraced Picnic Gardens

Planted terraces hold picnic tables, shady benches and views down the departure road. Local families come here even when they have no journey planned.

Southgate Trail Desk

An information counter posts current route conditions, closures and available transport. Staff help first-time travelers plan within their equipment and abilities.

Departure Stalls

Small stalls sell packed food, filled water bottles and last-minute supplies. Their busiest hour is just before morning departures.
