Other places listed in this gym’s district provide local context. Exact street adjacency and walking times are not yet established.

1. Reedmarket Center

Civic errands, groceries and community gatherings occupy the town's main high ground. Roofed spaces keep daily life moving through rain, and food smells draw people into the center between errands.

Reedmarket Town Office

A small civic office handles local records and community notices. Residents can ask where to report damaged walks, drainage problems or interrupted services.

Covered Grocery Market

Stalls sell household staples, vegetables and locally prepared food under a shared roof. Wide aisles accommodate shoppers escaping a sudden downpour.

Mail Counter

Letters and parcels move through a compact counter beside the market. Notices help visitors track deliveries while staying in town.

Gathering Pavilion

A broad covered pavilion hosts neighborhood meetings, casual meals and small events. Rain on the roof becomes part of the atmosphere rather than a reason to cancel.

Ricepot Kitchen

A warm food counter serves rice dishes and simple seasonal sides. Communal tables make it easy for a lone traveler to find company.

2. Floodgate Reach

Wetland study, water-quality work and League competition share the managed marsh edge. Controlled facilities let the town learn from its environment while protecting both public health and the waterways.

Wetland Research House

Researchers study seasonal changes, plants and local habitats. A public display room explains current work without opening sensitive study areas to casual traffic.

Water Testing Station

Technicians sample the waterways and publish relevant condition notices. Equipment and handling rooms stay separate from visitor areas.

Floodgate Gym

The Poison-type base gym emphasizes tactical timing and field control. Sealed systems protect spectators and waterways; official victory earns the Mire Badge.

Marshside Practice Court

A contained training area allows adult teams to practice without releasing effects into open channels. Clear barriers distinguish it from public walks.

Reach Observation Deck

A maintained platform overlooks the managed marsh edge. Visitors can watch changing water levels and working crews from a safe public position.

3. Stiltgarden Ward

Raised homes, local services and shared outdoor spaces support ordinary neighborhood life above the channels. Footbridges connect the ward into a community rather than leaving each building isolated in the reeds.

Stiltgarden Homes

Raised houses face narrow channels and linked walkways. Porches become comfortable places for evening conversations when the air cools.

Reed School

Neighborhood children attend lessons beside a sheltered play area. Maintained bridge approaches give families clear routes through the ward.

Stiltgarden Clinic

Routine healthcare is provided close to residents' homes. Covered access and dry waiting space make appointments manageable in wet weather.

Raised Community Gardens

Planters and shared beds hold herbs, flowers and small food crops above the water. Neighbors trade cuttings and maintain the walking space between them.

Footbridge Café

A small café beside a busy bridge serves warm drinks and simple lunches. Its windows face the people passing between home, school and shops.

Sheltered Play Court

A roofed neighborhood court offers room to play when open ground is wet. Seating along the edge lets caregivers watch without blocking the activity.

4. Reedcraft Yard

Boat maintenance, weaving and freight handling occupy this durable service island. Crews based here also repair the boardwalks and drainage that make the town's other districts accessible.

Reedcraft Boatyard

Work slips accommodate repairs to punts and other local craft. Visitors collect finished work at a separate landing away from tools and lifting equipment.

Weavers' Hall

Craft workers turn prepared reeds into baskets, mats and useful household items. A small sales corner sits beside visible worktables.

Netmakers' Shed

Nets and lines are made, repaired and laid out for inspection. Customers describe the job they need done while workers sort lengths across broad benches.

Freight Storehouses

Raised storage buildings protect goods moving through the town. Loading schedules and marked walkways keep the service island orderly.

Boardwalk Maintenance Depot

Crews store planks, fittings and drainage tools for town repairs. Reports of loose boards and damaged railings are received at a public counter.

Yard Lunch Shelter

Covered tables and a small meal counter give workers somewhere dry to eat. The lunchtime crowd is noisy, practical and quick to recognize a newcomer.

5. Lantern Landing

Visitors arrive, find lodging and arrange marsh travel at this riverside district. Maintained decks offer easy scenery, while trips beyond them require suitable transport, equipment and current local advice.

Water Taxi Landing

Marked boarding points connect the town with maintained water routes. Passengers check conditions and destinations before stepping aboard.

Marsh Guide Huts

Local guides arrange outings suited to the weather and each traveler's abilities. Unmaintained marsh is not treated as a casual shortcut.

Lantern Guest Rooms

Small lodgings offer dry bedding, drying hooks and a restful base near transport. Hosts keep practical arrival and departure information close at hand.

Riverside Food Hall

Several kitchens serve meals beneath one roof overlooking the water. Shared tables welcome residents finishing a shift and visitors just arriving.

Marked Viewing Decks

Public decks provide marsh views without requiring specialist equipment. Rails and signed turnarounds make the accessible limits clear.

Marsh Departure Point

Travel beyond maintained walks may require a boat or a willing, suitably equipped aquatic partner. Posted conditions and closures still apply regardless of a partner's abilities.
