Other places listed in this gym’s district provide local context. Exact street adjacency and walking times are not yet established.

1. Shadecloth Bazaar

Daily shopping, local trade and civic errands gather beneath the district's shade canopies. The covered lanes remain usable in daytime heat, while food stalls and social life grow busier after sunset.

Canopy Shopping Lanes

Cloth-covered lanes hold household shops, fabric sellers and practical supplies. Narrow patches of sun move across the paving as shoppers pass between awnings.

Bazaar Civic Square

A shaded square provides seating and space for public announcements. It is a convenient meeting point between errands rather than an exposed ceremonial plaza.

Sunscar Post Office

Travelers and residents send parcels and collect messages at a cool interior counter. Delivery notices share wall space with local announcements.

Public Water Courts

Maintained drinking-water fountains stand beside shaded rest areas. People refill containers and pause here before continuing through the market.

Spice Arcade

Small stalls display spice jars, dried ingredients and fragrant blends for local cooking. Sellers explain how residents use their wares in everyday meals.

Sunset Kitchens

Food counters become especially lively when the streets cool. Shared tables turn supper into a social occasion for workers, families and travelers.

2. Redstone Arena

League training, surveying and practical work with the terrain share a reinforced canyon terrace. The district draws athletes and field crews without opening the surrounding canyon to uncontrolled practice.

Redstone Gym

Sunscar's Ground-type base gym tests positioning and endurance on supervised terrain. Victory in the official challenge awards the Strata Badge.

Groundwork Yards

Marked practice areas support controlled footing, movement and terrain exercises. Adult teams train within boundaries that separate them from public paths.

Canyon Survey Office

Surveyors maintain terrain records and report unstable ground. Visitors can ask about published route conditions without entering technical workrooms.

Terrace Viewing Walk

A reinforced public walkway overlooks the training quarter and canyon. Shade shelters let spectators pause without wandering onto active grounds.

Arena Rest House

A cool common room provides water, seating and a place to recover between sessions. Staff direct anyone needing medical attention to appropriate care.

3. Riverstep Ward

Homes, schools and local healthcare occupy stepped streets above designated flood levels. Shade and shared courtyards make the neighborhood comfortable while preserving a clear separation from the river's working edge.

Riverstep Courtyards

Clusters of homes open onto shaded shared spaces. Residents gather in the cooler hours to mend clothes, talk and watch children play.

Riverstep School

Classrooms and a protected play yard serve neighborhood children. Routes to the school stay within the maintained streets above flood zones.

Ward Clinic

A local practice offers routine healthcare and care for heat-related illness. A shaded waiting area keeps patients out of direct sun.

Terrace Garden Plots

Small household and shared gardens make careful use of irrigation. Residents grow cooking herbs and hardy crops suited to the local conditions.

Courtyard Bakeries

Neighborhood ovens produce bread and simple pastries before the worst heat. The smell carries through the lanes as people collect breakfast on their way out.

4. Cistern Works

Water storage, irrigation and equipment maintenance keep Sunscar functioning. It is a practical working district whose public counters help travelers prepare for heat and dust without interrupting essential operations.

Reservoir Control House

Crews monitor the city's stored water and maintain distribution systems. Working tanks and controls remain secured, with updates posted at the public office.

Irrigation Depot

Maintenance teams repair channels, valves and watering equipment. Households and growers bring service questions to the front counter.

Dustproof Repair Shop

A busy workshop cleans grit from equipment and repairs worn seals and fastenings. Repaired items sit labeled on collection shelves beside samples of common faults.

Watervessel Workshop

Makers repair and sell durable water containers. Staff check closures and carrying straps because leaks become serious problems beyond the city.

Protective Gear Counter

Sun coverings, goggles and practical outer layers fill this specialist store. Fitting advice focuses on the trip and the wearer's needs.

Cistern Storage Yards

Shaded bays protect maintenance supplies and repair materials. Marked routes allow collections without crossing active machinery or delivery work.

5. Canyon Gate

People arrange guides, rest and assemble supplies before taking the outward roads. The district supports departures and delayed journeys alike, with prominent notices about heat, water availability and closures.

Canyon Guide Offices

Local guides discuss route difficulty, weather and the supplies an outing requires. They recommend postponing travel when conditions or equipment are unsuitable.

Caravan Yards

Organized loading spaces let traveling groups sort freight and prepare departures. Rest areas are kept separate from moving loads and equipment.

Roadshade Inn

A traveler inn offers cool rooms, early meals and luggage storage. Guests often wait here for safer departure conditions rather than leaving at midday.

Canyon Baths

A public bathhouse provides washing facilities and a quiet place to rest after dusty travel. Staff keep water use practical in the dry climate.

Sunset Overlooks

Maintained viewing points face the canyon terraces. Benches and barriers let visitors enjoy the light without approaching unstable edges.

Gate Route Board

Current heat warnings, water information and canyon closures are collected beside the departure road. Travelers check it immediately before setting out.
