1. Seaglass Promenade
Shopping, seaside leisure and civic gatherings share the sheltered waterfront. This is the public face of the coast, with room to stroll and eat while freight activity stays at the working harbor.
Seaglass Shops
Small stores sell household goods, beach supplies and locally made keepsakes. Shaded entrances encourage browsing during the warmer part of the day.
Seafood Café Row
Casual cafés serve the day's available catch and simple coastal meals. Outdoor tables fill when the sea breeze makes the promenade comfortable.
Waterfront Civic Plaza
An open gathering space hosts local announcements, small events and evening performers. Benches remain available for ordinary use between performances.
Public Aquarium
Marine exhibits explain coastal ecosystems and the care of local waters. Educational displays distinguish the region's ordinary marine life from its demi-human people.
Promenade Seating Gardens
Shaded benches and planted pockets break up the waterfront walk. Residents come to talk, watch the water or spend a quiet hour outside.
2. Cinderstep Heights
Geothermal research and controlled athletic training occupy stable ground below the volcanic slopes. The district makes practical use of the landscape while keeping visitors informed about changing conditions.
Geothermal Study House
Researchers monitor and study local geothermal activity. Public displays explain their work while operational rooms remain restricted to staff.
Cinderstep Gym
The Fire-type base gym emphasizes controlled power and stamina in a purpose-built arena. Victory in its official challenge awards the Ember Badge.
Heatshield Training Courts
Adult teams practice in designated courts designed for controlled activity. Boundaries keep active sessions separate from visitors moving through the district.
Heights Monitoring Post
Observation staff relay relevant changes in local conditions. Its public noticeboard gives straightforward updates rather than encouraging sightseeing during warnings.
Coolshade Rest Room
A shaded indoor stop provides water and a place to rest between visits or training sessions. Staff direct anyone who feels unwell toward medical care.
3. Saltwind Ward
Year-round homes, schools and everyday shopping make this the city's residential center. Breezy streets and shared courtyards give neighbors outdoor space without relying on the visitor districts.
Saltwind Homes
Residential buildings open onto laundry balconies and communal courts. Doors and windows are arranged to catch the breeze through the neighborhood.
Saltwind School
Local children attend shared classrooms close to home. A sheltered courtyard provides play space away from the harbor's working routes.
Coastal Medical Center
The city medical center handles routine care and injuries requiring treatment. Its covered entrance makes access straightforward in both heat and rain.
Neighborhood Grocers
Small food shops supply the ward's daily cooking needs. Familiar customers stop to talk while collecting bread, produce and household staples.
Courtyard Commons
Shared planted courts offer seating and room for neighborhood gatherings. Residents organize small celebrations and evening meals here.
Early Tide Breakfast Café
A compact café opens for residents heading to work or school. Coffee, warm bread and a few dependable breakfast dishes keep the menu simple.
4. Anchorworks Harbor
Fishing, freight and vessel repair make this Tideglass's working port. Crews and tradespeople use its practical services, while visitors follow marked public routes rather than wandering through active berths.
Fishing Berths
Working boats land catches and prepare for their next departures. Public paths stay clear of lines, equipment and unloading crews.
Cargo Docks
Freight moves between vessels and warehouses through clearly separated work zones. Delivery activity sets the district's busiest hours.
Anchorworks Repair Slips
Shipwrights and repair crews maintain vessels at dedicated slips. Customers check in at a service counter before entering any work area.
Harbor Cold Stores
Warehouses keep perishable goods ready for distribution to markets and kitchens. Loading bays are reserved for scheduled crews.
Dockworkers' Canteen
A practical kitchen serves generous meals around harbor shifts. Its customers value a hot plate and a dry seat more than a polished view.
Working Tide Outfitters
A specialist store sells durable clothing, ropes and everyday maritime gear. Staff focus on useful equipment for real work at the coast.
5. Warmstone Quarter
Visitors and residents come here for lodging, bathing, creative work and gentle hillside walks. Access toward the volcanic hill is managed separately from the quiet public gardens and guesthouses.
Warmstone Guesthouses
Small lodgings offer a slower base above the busiest waterfront streets. Shared balconies and breakfast rooms invite relaxed conversation.
Geothermal Bathhouse
Managed geothermal bathing pools provide places to wash and unwind. Staff maintain safe bathing areas; natural hot ground outside them is not an invitation to enter.
Hillside Art Studios
Artists work in small studios with occasional public displays and sales. Visitors can watch permitted demonstrations without entering private workspaces.
Warmstone Walking Gardens
Maintained paths wind through planted terraces with shaded stopping points. The gardens provide an easy outing without becoming a route onto the volcano.
Volcanic Trail Office
Staff oversee official access toward the volcanic hill and publish closures. Unsafe conditions close the routes, even for confident or experienced travelers.
Garden Tea Terrace
A quiet terrace serves drinks and light food beside the walking gardens. It is a place to pause after a bath or an afternoon among the studios.
